Beaches Resorts are family-friendly all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean. Owned by the Sandals brand, these resorts deliver the same high level of service, luxury, and amenities as the Sandals adults-only all-inclusives. And while many Beaches Resorts reviews focus on how great they are for families, there are still plenty of reasons for couples to visit on their own. In fact, Beaches Resorts are popular for honeymoons and destination weddings.

One of two Beaches resorts in Jamaica, Beaches Negril is set on the famous Seven Mile Beach,

Beaches Negril Amenities & Activities

As we mentioned before, Beaches Negril is on the world-famous Seven Mile Beach. The beach here is a long stretch of powder-white sand with beautiful clear and calm water, perfect for watersports. This beach faces west, so it offers fantastic sunset views.

Guests enjoy all sorts of complimentary watersports including kayaking, Hobie Cat sailing, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. Only available at Beaches Negril is SNUBA, a combination of snorkeling and scuba diving. As at Sandals resorts, equipment and instruction are included for everything.

Also like at the Sandals resorts, scuba diving is also included for certified divers. Instruction is available for a fee.

The huge range of complimentary activities at Beaches Negril also includes day and night tennis, shuffleboard, table tennis, beach volleyball, soccer, billiards, basketball, outdoor chess, bocce ball, croquet, and pool tables. There’s also 3 pools, 3 whirlpools, a fitness center, the Red Lane Spa, and daily and nightly entertainment.

The Beaches Negril waterpark is right on the beach and features 8 giant waterslides, pools including kid-friendly pools, and a 650-foot lazy river.

There are facilities for kids and teens, including Kids’ Camp with certified nannies, an Xbox play lounge, Port Royal Arcade, and the Club Liquid teen disco (which turns into an adult nightclub later on). Sesame Street characters pop up throughout the resort, and you can book area excursions for an extra cost.

A unique offering at Beaches Negril is the Caribbean’s first Certified Autism Center.

Beaches Negril Restaurants and Bars

Eleven Beaches Negril restaurants serve a variety of cuisine including Italian, barbecue, pizza, beachfront Caribbean and seafood, an international buffet, Asian, sushi, a French café, Peruvian, and Mexican, as well as frozen yogurt and gelato. We loved the new Peruvian restaurant and found all the food to be really good quality.

Seven bars include beach bars and swim-up bars. Couples can also book romantic candlelight dinners.

Beaches Negril Location

One of two Beaches resorts in Jamaica, Beaches Negril is located on 20 acres along Seven Mile Beach in Negril on the west side of Jamaica. It is about an hour and a half from the airport, and Beaches Negril airport transfers are complimentary.
